Kerri Pilchik received an art history degree from Duke University, a law degree from Georgetown University and completed the Interior Design Program at the New York School of Interior Design. Kerri’s boundless passion for interior design began as a young girl when her father built her a dollhouse and she spent all of her free time decorating it. This is when her acute attention to detail and creativity were born.
Kerri practiced environmental law in New York City where she was entrusted to represent some of the City’s largest real estate developers and art museums. During this time she developed a critical eye and talent for editing that translates invaluably to interior design. After 14 years, she decided to pursue her life long passion for interior design full time. Although she had spent years honing her design skills informally, she enrolled at NYSID to undertake an important formal design education. Kerri brings her strong background in client service to KKID; she has the ability to understand what a client needs and wants, sometimes before even they do! She has a passion for textiles of all kinds, and a fresh eye for mixing prints and color. With an education and appreciation for the historical decorative arts, she loves to blend furniture and accessories from different periods and styles, especially Asian art and mid-century modern pieces.
Kerri lives in Ridgewood, NJ with her husband, two young children and beagle puppy Minnie Bagel.
